Downloading Mubarmij Desktop — what actually exists in the code | Moparmeg

Not available yet unless a file is published: the platform repository holds neither the installer nor a release manifest, so every card shows «غير متاح بعد» (Not available yet) unless a download source holding the file and its checksum is configured on the server. There is no /api/v1/auth/ide/authorize route, so authorizing the app from the browser is not available yet. Getting a copy before it is published requires contacting support.

What the downloads page shows

The page is public (no sign-in). Its heading is «مبرمج لسطح المكتب» (Mubarmij Desktop) and its description «وكيل برمجة بالذكاء الاصطناعي على جهازك — بواجهة عربية كاملة، ومشاريعك في مبرمج على بُعد نقرة» (An AI coding agent on your machine — full Arabic UI, with your Mubarmij projects one click away). It contains:

• «مبرمج لسطح المكتب — ويندوز» (Windows), format «مُثبّت .exe (x64)» (.exe installer, x64).
• «مبرمج لسطح المكتب — ماك» (macOS), format «.dmg (Apple Silicon)».
• «مبرمج لسطح المكتب — لينكس» (Linux), format «.AppImage (x64)».
• «إضافة Codex وClaude Code» (Codex and Claude Code plugin), tagged «MCP إضافة» (MCP plugin), with an «خطوات التثبيت» (Install guide) button — install steps, not a download file.
• A «إضافة VS Code» (VS Code extension) card is drawn only when available (see Extension and CLI).

Below the cards is a «المميزات» (Features) list (AI coding agent, full Arabic RTL support, full project generation, chat with code, automatic code review, integrated terminal). These are descriptive texts on the page; the desktop app's own code is not in the platform repository.

When a download button appears

1. The server reads the download source from DOWNLOADS_DIR (a server folder, checked first) or DOWNLOADS_BASE_URL (a storage address serving the files). If neither is set, every card shows «غير متاح بعد».
2. The source holds a manifest.json naming each artifact with its file name, version and SHA-256 checksum. A line without a valid checksum, or for an unknown artifact, is ignored.
3. The file itself is checked, and its size if stated. A missing file, a different size or an address that does not answer means «غير متاح بعد».
4. The status is re-read about every five minutes, so an uploaded or removed file shows within that time.

An available card shows «الإصدار» (Version), «الحجم» (Size), «بصمة SHA-256» (SHA-256 checksum) and a «تحميل» (Download) button with the file name. The link is under /api/v1/downloads/ and streams or redirects to the file with an X-Checksum-SHA256 header; match the checksum after downloading. The machine-readable list of available artifacts only is GET /api/v1/downloads.

Operating systems and signing

The page announces Windows (x64), macOS (Apple Silicon) and Linux (x64). Because the repository holds no app files, whether the installer is digitally signed cannot be determined from the code; the checksum proves the file's integrity, not a signature.

Sign-in and pairing

The /ide-login page accepts client_id=moparmeg-ide with a return address whose host is 127.0.0.1 over http only:

1. If the client id or return address differs, «طلب غير صالح» (Invalid request) is shown.
2. Otherwise «تفويض Moparmeg IDE» (Authorize Moparmeg IDE) appears with «مسجَّل الدخول باسم …» (Signed in as …) or «لست مسجَّل الدخول» (Not signed in), then the alert «تفويض الـIDE من المتصفّح غير متاح حالياً: خادم إصدار رمز التفويض لم يُبنَ بعد…» (Authorizing the IDE from the browser is not available: the authorization-code server is not built yet).
3. Buttons: «إنشاء مفتاح API» (Create an API key) — or «تسجيل الدخول» (Sign in) if you are signed out — and «العودة إلى الـIDE» (Back to the IDE), which returns the app the error code temporarily_unavailable, not an authorization code.

Not available yet: issuing an authorization code to the app from the browser, because the /api/v1/auth/ide/authorize route does not exist. The alternative the page offers: create an API key and paste it into the app's settings.

What works today instead

• Download your project as a ZIP and open it in any editor: Code.
• An API key for the command-line tool or the app: Extension and CLI and API keys.

Plans

The downloads page checks no plan. What you build in the browser follows your plan limits: for example «المجانية» (Free) includes 1 project and 0 AI requests per day. See Billing.

FAQ

A card says «غير متاح بعد» (Not available yet) — why?

The server did not find its file in the release manifest with a valid checksum, or did not find the file itself. The page never links to a file that does not exist.

Is there a macOS or Linux version?

The page announces cards for both besides Windows, and each stays «غير متاح بعد» until its file is published.
